Description of products
The products offered at Jardín del Mar include
– Art prints and posters on high quality paper.
– Handmade printed wooden plaques.
– Unique handmade pieces made from recycled wood. Dimensions and prices vary according to the piece.
– Handmade jewellery made from natural materials (such as avocado or coconut seeds). Characteristics, sizes and prices vary.
– Customised products made to order, made to customer specifications. Production times, costs and details are agreed individually.

Prices and taxes
All prices are expressed in Euros (€) and include IGIC (Impuesto General Indirecto Canario), the tax in force in the Canary Islands.
Shipping costs, unless otherwise stated, are excluded from the price of the products and are calculated separately when ordering.

Payment methods
We accept the following payment methods
– Credit/debit cards via a secure platform (e.g. Stripe)
– Bank transfer (details will be provided at the time of purchase)
– Cash payment (for on-site collection only)

Shipment of orders
Orders are generally shipped within 3 to 5 working days after payment.
For customised items, delivery times will be agreed individually.
Shipping methods:
– Standard shipping: cheaper but no tracking and no liability in case of loss.
– Registered delivery: including tracking code.
The customer can choose the preferred method at the time of purchase.

Indicative delivery times:
– Canary Islands: 3-7 working days
– Spain and Europe: 7-14 working days (except for delays due to courier companies or external events).

Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at the time of purchase, depending on the weight, volume and destination of the order. For orders of several items, shipping costs can be combined to reduce costs. In case of collection on site (market place or our workshop), no shipping costs will be charged.

Import duties and customs
Customs duties and additional taxes may apply to international orders. These duties are not under our control, are calculated by the local customs office and vary greatly from country to country.

Customised or made-to-order products
For customised or personalised items (name, colour, specific measurements), production lead times will be communicated at the time of ordering. These items are non-returnable (see point Exclusion of the right of withdrawal), except for defects or damage.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receipt of the goods, without stating reasons, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU transposed into Spanish law by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007.
To exercise the right of withdrawal
– Write to us by email within 14 days of delivery.
– Indicate: name, order number, product to be returned.
– Return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.
– Products must be returned intact, unused and in their original packaging.
The refund will be made within 14 days of receipt of the returned product, using the same method of payment.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
In accordance with article 103 of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (RDL 1/2007), the right of withdrawal is excluded for all products made to measure or clearly personalised at the customer’s request (e.g. decorations with names, shapes, colours or chosen phrases). These items are not re-saleable and cannot be returned.

Damaged or defective items
In case of damaged or defective items
– Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
– Send photos of the damage and packaging
We will offer you a free refund or replacement, as appropriate. No claims will be accepted after this time.

Responsibility for unique handmade products
The products offered by Jardín del Mar are handmade with natural and/or recycled materials. Each piece is unique and may present slight variations and imperfections in shape, colour, size or finish with respect to the photograph or description provided. These characteristics do not constitute defects, but rather attest to the handmade and unique character of the product and should be understood as distinctive elements of the value of artistic craftsmanship.

Force majeure and late delivery
We shall not be liable for delays or non-deliveries due to force majeure (e.g. strikes, natural disasters, transport disruptions, pandemics, war).

In case of late delivery, please help us before contacting us by doing the following:
– Check for delivery address errors in the shipping confirmation email.
– Ask your local post office if they have your package.
Drop by your neighbours’ house in case the courier has left them the parcel.
